The Details You Feel, Even When You Don't Notice Them.
Purposeful sound effects, atmospheres and polished final mixes.
Sound Design & Mixing
Sound design brings texture, timing and intention to picture. We develop the sonic elements that support a scene or idea, then shape them into a clear and balanced final mix.
A picture reference, rough edit, delivery format and a few notes on the intended mood will help us plan sound design. If you have music or existing audio assets, include those too.
Find The Right Sound.
Not every brief needs original music composition. Bigmouth can source suitable production music, effects and atmospheres from sound-effects and production-music libraries, then edit and integrate them with your soundtrack.
Music and effects use remains subject to the applicable library licences, media, territory, term and any additional fees. We'll confirm clearance requirements and costs before using material in the final production.
DISCUSS MUSIC AND SOUND OPTIONS ↗Before We
Begin.
Each project's requirements are different. Get in touch to talk through the details.
Can You Work To An Existing Picture Edit?
Yes. Send a picture reference and available stems or source audio, plus your preferred delivery requirements.
Do You Compose Original Music?
Bigmouth is an audio post-production studio, not a conventional music production or band-recording facility. Ask about production music and sound-design options.
Can you source sound effects and production music for my project?
Yes. We can source suitable sound effects, atmospheres and production music from professional libraries. Any licensing requirements and associated costs will be discussed before the material is used.
What should I include in a sound design brief?
A picture reference or script, creative direction, examples of the intended sound and a clear description of the final deliverables are all useful. Knowing the project's audience, format and deadline also helps shape the sound design approach.
Can you deliver separate dialogue, music and effects stems?
Yes. Separate stems can be included in the delivery requirements, allowing broadcasters, editors or international production teams to work with individual elements of the mix. Let us know what your post-production workflow requires.
