Hi. I'm
Andrew.
I'm a Johannesburg-based voice artist, sound engineer and owner of Bigmouth Studios. I've worked in audio and media since 2004, which means I've spent a fair amount of time listening to what makes a read work.
I know what the script needs to do, but I also know what happens after the microphone is switched off. Direction, editing, timing, the final mix. It all matters.
My approach is fairly simple: understand the message, find the right tone and make the process easy for the people on the other side of the glass.

It depends on the script length, word count, where the recording will be used, an in which market, country or territory, usage duration and production requirements. Send me the script or a brief and we can discuss the details.
Can You Work With Clients Outside South Africa?
Yes. I’m based in Johannesburg and work with clients in South Africa and internationally. Tell me how you’d like the session to run.
Can I Request A Custom Audition?
Absolutely! Send the relevant script extract and casting information and we can discuss what makes sense for the project.
What Audio Formats Can You Provide?
Please tell me your required format, bit depth, sample rate and any delivery specifications. We’ll agree on these before recording.
What Happens If The Script Changes?
Changes after recording may affect the session or revision requirements. We’ll clarify any specific policy and scope as part of the quotation.
