If you’ve tried cleaning up interview audio and the guest now sounds as though they’re speaking through a snorkel, send me the original recording as well.
I’d much prefer to start with any noise humming under an intact voice. Send the cleaned version too if there’s something you like about it. Just keep a copy from before anyone decided to tackle the that noise.
Good audio post-production should fix the problems, not create new ones.
